Interview Process

  • Selection for Interview: Candidates shortlisted from the Online Main Examination will be called for an Interview conducted by Participating Banks, coordinated by IBPS.

  • Interview Details: Candidates will receive their Interview call letters indicating the centre, venue address, date, and time. These call letters must be downloaded from the official IBPS website www.ibps.in.

  • Interview Marks: The Interview carries a total of 100 marks. The minimum qualifying marks for the Interview are 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates).

  • Weightage: The weightage between Online Main Examination and Interview is 80:20 respectively.

  • Combined Final Score: The final merit list will be prepared based on the combined scores of the Online Main Examination and Interview.

  • Disqualification: Candidates failing to secure minimum qualifying marks in the Interview or barred from the Interview will not have their Interview scores disclosed.

Document Verification and Requirements

  • Documents to be Produced: Candidates must produce original documents and self-attested photocopies at the time of Interview. These include:

    1. Interview Call Letter (downloaded from IBPS website).
    2. System-generated printout of the online application form for CRP- SPL-XIV.
    3. Proof of Date of Birth (Birth Certificate or SSLC/Std. X Certificate).
    4. Photo Identity Proof as specified.
    5. Educational Qualification certificates and mark sheets.
    6. Caste Certificate (for SC/ST/OBC categories).
    7. Income and Asset Certificate (for EWS category).
    8. Disability Certificate (for PwBD category).
    9. Ex-serviceman Certificate (if applicable).
    10. No Objection Certificate (for candidates currently employed in Govt./PSUs).
    11. Any other relevant documents supporting eligibility.
  • Formats and Verification: Documents like Educational qualifications, Caste Certificates, etc., will be verified with the issuing authorities. Submission of incorrect or fraudulent documents will lead to disqualification.

  • Identity Verification: Candidates must carry a currently valid photo identity proof (same as used in application) to the Examination and Interview venues. Biometric verification may also be conducted.

  • Instructions: Candidates must follow instructions regarding document submission, biometric verification, and identity proof strictly. Failure to comply may lead to disqualification.

  • Provisional Allotment: Based on merit-cum-preference and availability of vacancies in Participating Banks, candidates will be provisionally allotted. This is subject to verification and fulfillment of eligibility criteria by the allotted bank.

  • Reserve List: A reserve list may be maintained, and provisional allotment may be done multiple times based on vacancies reported by Participating Banks.

How to Apply for IBPS SO Recruitment 2024

Application Procedure

  1. Registration:

    • Visit the official IBPS website www.ibps.in and click on “CRP PO/MT”.
    • Click on “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP-SPECIALIST OFFICERS (CRP-SPL-XIV)”.
    • Click on “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” and enter basic information to generate a provisional registration number and password. Save these details.
    • An email & SMS will also be sent with the provisional registration number and password.
  2. Application Form Filling:

    • Log in using the provisional registration number and password.
    • Fill in the online application form with personal details, education qualifications, etc.
    • Upload scanned images of photograph, signature, left thumb impression, handwritten declaration, and relevant certificates as per specifications.
  3. Fee Payment:

    • Pay the application fees/intimation charges online (Rs. 175/- for SC/ST/PwBD candidates, Rs. 850/- for all others).
    • Payment can be made using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets/UPI.
  4. Final Submission:

    • Verify all details filled in the application form before final submission.
    • After final submission, an e-receipt will be generated upon successful payment.
    • Take a printout of the e-receipt and online application form for future reference. Do not send it to IBPS/Banks.
  5. Important Notes:

    • Ensure all details in the application form are correct as no changes will be allowed after submission.
    • Check email/SMS for registration confirmation. If not received, consider the application not successfully registered.
    • Incomplete applications (missing photograph, signature, etc.) or unsuccessful fee payments will be rejected.
    • Apply well before the closing date to avoid last-minute issues due to internet congestion.
  6. Validity and Responsibility:

    • All information submitted in the application form is final and binding.
    • Candidates are responsible for the accuracy of information provided. Incorrect details may lead to consequences.
