PGCIL Recruitment 2024: Pay Scale and Designation Details
Selected candidates for the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) will undergo a one-year training period. Here’s an overview of the pay structure and benefits for various positions.
Diploma Trainee (Electrical/Civil) and Junior Officer Trainee (HR/F&A)
During the training period, candidates for the Diploma Trainee and Junior Officer Trainee roles will be placed in a pay scale of ₹24,000 – ₹1,08,000 (IDA) at the S0 level, with a basic pay of ₹24,000. Additional benefits include IDA, HRA, and perks at 12% of the basic pay. Upon successful completion of training, candidates will be absorbed as Junior Engineer Gr-IV or Junior Officer Gr-IV at the S1 level, with a pay scale of ₹25,000 – ₹1,17,500 (IDA) and an approximate annual CTC of ₹11.9 Lakhs.
Assistant Trainee (Finance & Accounts)
For the Assistant Trainee (F&A) position, selected candidates will receive a pay scale of ₹21,500 – ₹74,000 (IDA) at the W3 level, with a basic pay of ₹21,500 during the training period. Candidates will also receive IDA, HRA, and perks at 12% of the basic pay. After training, they will be absorbed as Assistant (F&A) at the W4 level, with a pay scale of ₹22,000 – ₹85,000 (IDA) and an approximate annual CTC of ₹10.3 Lakhs.
