Chargeman (Ammunition Workshop)

  • Essential Qualification:
    • Bachelor of Science degree with Physics or Chemistry or Mathematics from a recognised University or Institution, OR
    • Diploma in Chemical Engineering from a recognised University or Board.

Chargeman (Factory)

  • Essential Qualification:
    • Bachelor of Science degree with Physics or Chemistry or Mathematics from a recognised University or Institution, OR
    • Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Computer Engineering from a recognised University or Board.

Chargeman (Mechanic)

  • Essential Qualification:
    • Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Production Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.
    • Two years’ experience in quality control or quality assurance or testing or proof in the area of design or production or maintenance of engineering equipment or system from a recognized organisation.

Scientific Assistant

  • Essential Qualification:
    • B.Sc degree in Physics or Chemistry or Electronics or Oceanography.
    • Two years’ experience in one of the following fields:
      • Material (metal, metal alloys, rubber) analysis and testing techniques
      • Machinery noise and vibration movements; analysis and reduction techniques
      • Chemical analysis of oils, lubricants, electrolyte and water, etc.
      • Study and analysis of corrosion process and mitigation techniques.

Draughtsman (Construction)

  • Essential Qualification:
    • Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Institution or Board.
    • Two years’ Certificate in Draughtsmanship from an Industrial Training Institute or equivalent recognized Institution, OR
    • Three years apprenticeship under Apprenticeship Training Scheme in Draughtsmanship OR ITI certificate and two years Trade Apprentice Training with certificate of All India Trade Test conducted by National Council of Vocational Training in the trades of Shipwright/Welder/Platter/Sheet Metal/Ship Fitter.
    • Certificate in Automated Computer Aided Design (Auto CAD) from DOEACC or equivalent.

Fireman

  • Essential Qualification:
    • 12th class pass from a recognised Board.
    • Elementary or basic or auxiliary Fire Fighting course from a recognised institute.
  • Desirable:
    • Possession of heavy motor vehicle license.
  • Physical Standards:
    • Height without shoes: 165 centimeters (with 2.5 cm concession for Scheduled Tribes).
    • Chest (normal): 81.5 centimeters.
    • Chest (on expansion): 85 centimeters.
    • Weight: 50 kilograms (minimum).
    • Eye sight: 6/6 (normal vision).
  • Endurance Test:
    • Carrying a person (fireman lift of 63.5 kilograms to a distance of 183 meters within 96 seconds).

Fire Engine Driver

  • Essential Qualification:
    • 12th class pass from a recognised Board.
    • Must possess Heavy Motor Vehicle license from recognised authority.
  • Physical Standards:
    • Height without shoes: 165 centimeters (with 2.5 cm concession for Scheduled Tribes).
    • Chest (normal): 81.5 centimeters.
    • Chest (on expansion): 85 centimeters.
    • Weight: 50 kilograms (minimum).
    • Eye sight: 6/6 without any correction (normal vision).
  • Endurance Test:
    • Carrying a person (fireman lift of 63.5 kilograms to a distance of 183 meters within 96 seconds).
    • Clearing 2.7 meters wide ditch landing on both feet (long jump).
    • Climbing 3 meters vertical rope using hand and feet.

Tradesman Mate

  • Essential Qualification:
    • 10th Standard pass from a recognised Board/Institution.
    • Certificate from a recognised Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in relevant trade (List of eligible trades provided separately).

Pest Control Worker

  • Essential Qualification:
    • Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board.
    • Must have knowledge of Hindi or regional language.

Cook

  • Essential Qualification:
    • Matriculation with one year experience in the trade.

Multi Tasking Staff (Ministerial)

Selection Process 

 Screening of Applications:

  • Indian Navy will not carry out detailed scrutiny of all applications received online to allow candidates to appear for the computer-based examination.
  • Merely fulfilling the basic selection criteria does not automatically entitle a person/applicant to be called for the online test.

Scheme of Examination:

  • All shortlisted/eligible candidates will have to appear in the online computer-based examination.
  • The examination will consist of multiple-choice questions in both English and Hindi (except for General English).

How to Apply Online for Naval Civilian Staff Recruitment.

  1. Apply Online: Use the website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in -> Join Navy -> Ways to join -> Civilians -> INCET-01/2024. Read guidelines before filling the form.
  2. Criteria and Qualifications: Ensure you meet the specified criteria and educational qualifications mentioned in the advertisement.
  3. Document Submission: Do not send a copy of the application form or any documents to the office. Take a printout of the Application Form for personal records. Bring the ADMIT CARD to the exam venue.
  4. Mistake Correction: Mistakes in the online application cannot be corrected by the Indian Navy. Candidates are responsible for the accuracy of their forms.
  5. Contact Information: Provide valid and active email IDs and mobile numbers. No changes will be allowed once entered. Indian Navy will communicate through these channels.
  6. Password: Remember the registration password for further logins.
  7. Apply Early: Apply well before the closing date to avoid last-minute issues due to internet connectivity or website overload.
  8. Multiple Applications: Avoid submitting multiple applications for the same post. If unavoidable, ensure the application with the higher registration number is complete.
