Format of Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JHTET) 2024

  1. Levels of Eligibility Test:

    • There are two levels of eligibility test:
      • Level-1: Primary School Level (Class I to V)
      • Level-2: Upper Primary School Level (Class VI to VIII)
    • Candidates have the option to appear in the examination for both levels.
  2. Duration of Examination:

    • Level-1 (Primary School Level – Class I to V): 2 hours 30 minutes
    • Level-2 (Upper Primary School Level – Class VI to VIII): 2 hours 30 minutes
    • Additional Time for Visually Impaired Persons: 30 minutes extra time will be provided.
  3. Consolidated Question Paper:

    • There will be a consolidated question paper for each level of examination.

Breakdown of Examination Levels

  • Level-1 (Primary School Level – Class I to V)

    • Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes
  • Level-2 (Upper Primary School Level – Class VI to VIII)

    • Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes

Additional Time for Visually Impaired Persons

  • Visually impaired candidates will receive an additional 30 minutes beyond the standard duration for their respective level of examination.
