Additional Reservations

  • Ex-Servicemen: 14.5% of posts will be reserved for ex-servicemen and dependents of those killed in action, on a horizontal basis, as per rules.
  • PwBD Candidates: 4% of posts are reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) on a horizontal basis for identified suitable posts, as per rules.

Place of Posting

The selected candidates will be posted at HAL – Avionics Division, Korwa, Amethi (UP). They may be transferred or assigned to any other location where HAL has divisions, offices, or bases, depending on organizational requirements.

Tenure of Engagement

Candidates will be engaged for a four-year tenure from the date of joining. This engagement does not constitute a permanent position, and candidates cannot claim regular employment in the future. The tenure automatically concludes at the end of the four years without additional notice. However, based on organizational needs and individual performance, the tenure may be extended for a maximum of four additional years per HAL rules.

The engagement can be terminated by either party with one month’s notice or through payment equivalent to the Basic Pay and Dearness Allowance in lieu of notice. Selected personnel will undergo induction training and may be required to work in shifts.

Additional Benefits and Allowances

  • Dearness Allowance: Revised quarterly based on Basic Pay.
  • House Rent Allowance: Provided based on city classification when company quarters are unavailable.
  • Provident Fund Contributions: Calculated on Basic Pay and Dearness Allowance.
  • Medical Reimbursement: A lump sum of Rs. 1,500/- monthly for self-certified medical expenses; no other medical benefits are provided.
  • Incentives: Monthly and annual incentives, along with quarterly performance pay.
  • Travel Allowances: Applicable for joining duty and temporary assignments as per relevant rules.
  • Group Insurance: In lieu of EDLI and night shift allowances where applicable.

Additional Notes

  • An annual increase of 3% on Basic Pay may be granted based on satisfactory performance.
  • Selected candidates will be entitled to holidays, leave, and uniforms as per company policies.
  • Personnel must adhere to company rules and regulations, including standing orders and transferability.

Selection Procedure for HAL Recruitment

The selection process for Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) recruitment primarily consists of a Written Test. Below are the detailed steps and criteria involved in the selection process.

1. Minimum Qualifying Marks

Candidates must meet specific percentage criteria in their qualifying examinations based on their category:

2. Cut-off Criteria

If there are many candidates achieving the above qualifying percentages, HAL reserves the right to set a cut-off percentage for calling candidates to the Written Test based on their qualifying exam marks.

3. Written Test Details

  • Date, Time, and Venue: Candidates will be notified via email and through the HAL website.

4. Candidate Responsibilities

  • Candidates must bear their own costs to attend the Written Test.
  • They must download their Admit Card from the HAL website.
  • Candidates must bring the Admit Card and one original Photo Identity Card (e.g., Aadhar, Passport, Voter ID) along with a self-attested photocopy.

5. Merit-based Selection

Selection will be based solely on the marks scored in the Written Test, in order of merit. Candidates who qualify will proceed to Document Verification.

6. Document Verification

  • Candidates will be informed via email about the date, time, and location of the document verification.
  • Failure to produce the required documents will result in disqualification.
  • All relevant documents will be scrutinized to ensure compliance with the advertised criteria (age, qualification, etc.).

Additional candidates may be called for Document Verification if any original candidates are rejected.

7. Final Engagement Steps

  • Selected candidates will receive Provisional Offers of Engagement.
  • They must undergo a Pre-employment Medical Examination.
  • Final offers will be issued following satisfactory medical reports and character verification as per HAL’s standards.
