Stage 1: Written Exam (Computer-Based Test [CBT])

Stage 2: Document Verification, Medical Examination, and Physical Endurance Test (PET)
Step 1: Document Verification
Shortlisted candidates from the CBT will undergo document verification to confirm their eligibility based on the prescribed criteria.
Step 2: Medical Examination
Candidates must meet the following medical standards:

Step 3: Driving Test

Stage 3: Basic Training Course (BTC)
Candidates who successfully clear all the previous stages will be selected for the Basic Training Course (BTC). The BTC lasts 18 weeks and includes training on Heavy Duty Vehicle Maintenance and Driving at either the Fire Training College (FTC) in New Delhi or Fire Staff Training College (FSTC) in Kolkata.
